Walt Pultowski is a graduate of Notre Dame where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. While at Notre Dame, Walt was a consensus All-American playing football for legendary coach Aran Parseghian. In 1971, he won the Lombardi Award as the nation’s best college lineman. He played two consecutive cotton bowls and was named Most Valuable .in the Hula Bowl. He is a member of the All Century Team at Notre Dame and nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame.

Walt was the National Football League’s number one overall pick in the 1972 NFL draft, going to the Buffalo Bills, where he played for 4 years. He completed his NFL career with the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Following his NFL career, Walt began a second career in financial services in 1978. He spent nine years as first Vice President and Branch Manageer for Mc Donald Investments, a subsidiary of Key Corp. A twenty plus year veteraen of the securities and insurance industries, he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation as well as becoming a Chartered Financial Consultant.

Staying active in his community has always been important to Walt. While living in Syracuse NY, he was the recipient of the Key to Syracuse for his distinguished community services. He served as a Commmissioner of the Syracuse Board of Education for six years and as a board member of the local Boys and Girls Club of America. He is a member of the Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.

Walt is also a speaker and writer. He is the author of the audio series Vitamins and Minerals for the Mind, a motivational audio series for those in the business of sales. His inspirational messages have been recieved by such groups a Key Bank, General Electric, Bank of America, and the National Football Foundation among many others. He has been a “visionary and gifted writer.”

Walt is dedicated to inspiring his clients to win by creating focused, goal-directed lives and businesses. He shares his belief for a life plan and unique strategies with school systems, sports teams and companies.

Walt is a welcome addition to the Landfall Writers’ Group and is in the proccess of writing and editing a book about his life and career. He is hoping to be published later this year.
