STEVE MUELLER was born in Belleville, Illinois and grew up in Arlington, Virginia. After earning a bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia and working for several years, he went on to do post-graduate work at Virginia, Richmond and Stamford before earning a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina, at Greensboro.
Most of his career involved writing and editing in the marketing and advertising fields. He later spent eight years as a senior writer and editor at Walmart.com in California. His last position featured a career shift to the English/Humanities department at Guilford Technical Community College, where he was on the adjunct faculty for 12 years.
Steve enjoys retirement with his lovely wife, Ann, and spending time with the families of their son and daughter. He likes playing gospel guitar instrumentals for summer services at Mt. Lebanon Chapel and serves on two university boards.
His current writing projects include several short stories and an account of his father’s cases as a special agent for the U.S. Treasury Department.
